1). The gem store item only unlocks *expansion* hero points. You have to own an expansion to be able to get hero points from it. If you're a new player who has yet to purchase any expansion, you cannot use the item for anything. 2).
The first, jungle-based expansion for Guild Wars 2. Expect to pay £35/$50 Release Out now These traits are unlocked by earning Hero Points that are specific to each character. Hero Points are
Posted May 4, 2019. HoT is harder than PoF, but since it's clustered together, it's faster and much easier to access than PoF hero points (which are scattered around the map). You kinda get used to it. There are pleanty of guides on the internet (youtube and dulfy), but as a thief, you really should be able to cheese most hero points with

You can still exchange the Desert Herorics for Testimony of Heroics via the Notary Vendor . EoD has now been released and we see no such conversion in the Notary Vendor. With the last 2 ways of acquisition being decommissioned, there is currently no way to acquire Desert Heroics, unless you have piles of the OLD Skirmish Chests.
You want to grab a longbow and a greatsword, then get Marksmanship, Wilderness Survival, and Beastmaster. Grab Signet of the Hunt, Lightning Reflexes, and "Sic 'Em" for utilities, and "We Heal as One" for the heal. In Marksmanship, take Clarion Bond, Steady Focus, and Remorseless. In Wilderness Survival, take Oakheart Salve, Shared Anguish, and

The Skritt King is found here presiding over his subjects, in this unofficial capital and center of skritt culture. It is often the target of Sinister Triad raids.
You can speed up the interaction by 2-3 seconds, if you happen to have Quickness. As you can see in the link, most classes have an option to get this boon somehow for a short time. Just get it right before you interact. When I tested it without the boon, interaction took ~ 7 seconds, with quickness it is 4-5 seconds.
Don't worry about messing up anything. You get enough hero points to fully level up all of your core traits, both of your elite specs and still have more than 400 excess hero points. You can also change your traits, builds and gear at for free and as many times as you want to, as long as you aren't in combat.
Get to the HP and POI above Skyclaw Peaks during the day (basic glider) I've seen a ton of people asking how to get here in map chat and I've help as many as I've seen so I thought a video would be helpful, this method doesn't require the chopper and you don't even need jumping mushrooms, keep in mind that while it is easy to get up there alone Levelling from 1-80 gives you exactly enough hero points to unlock all the core skills and specialisations. To unlock the elites you need to do hero challenges in open-world maps or play World vs. World and use Testimonies of Heroics from rank and skirmish chests to unlock them.
Fastest way is to boost. Start the heart of thorns story. Farm exp untill you Unlock gliding. Check constantly for hero point train in the group finder maybe see if there is a discord group for organizing one. While you wait and scan the lfg, start pof story, then grab blish hud and download the taco guide for hero points, follow it along.
Axe/axe: Ranged option with high damage. Longbow: Ranged option with high damage. Axe/Warhorn: Ranged option with good damage and great boon generation. Greatsword: Melee With really high damage (even more with soulbeast) Sword/x: A melee version for any of the above. Has more evades but less damage then axe.
To reach this Mastery Insight, start from the Market Ruins Waypoint near Kodash Bazaar. Jump down into the river below and head north up the river until you are able to move onto the land to the right. Then, head east until you reach the Hero Challenge and a protective bubble. Next, move north into the ruins, then hide under one of the arches
