From my research, the 1.5 Dragon in the Bronco Sport has a timing chain. There are other versions of the 3 cylinder that have belts, but not the one in the Bronco Sport. My manual (page 414) says the accessory drive belts should be changed at 150,000 miles. There are other threads that discuss this topic.

Its a lubricated belt. One of the reasons that its change-out interval is 240,000 kms. Interference is my guess to get the valve lift to produce the HP required. 2016 fusion 1.5 no start after timing belt replacement. Thanks in advance for any advice. We installed a timing belt on a 2016 fusion with the 1.5 turbo. We locked the cams with the special tool (arrow up) and we used a paint marker on the cams and crank. We didn't install the locking crank tool, but didn't see the crank move from the paint marks.
