Safely remove the HDD from your PC and reconnect to your Humax box. Power up your Humax box. Navigate to Settings - System Settings - Storage. Select your drive. Select Start disk format and enter PIN if set. Once the format is complete test that the live pause now works. Power down your Humax box and remove the HDD again.

After several years of trouble free viewing with the 3 older boxes I started having many problems with the new one.
The new televison is a smart TV and wants to see the set top box on HDMI 1. The Blu-ray and Humax are never both on at the same time. It only happens when certain SD channels are selected, it never happens ITV+1 or the horror channel for example, and never on a HD channel.
