The K20 engine is a wonderful one anyway, but this ECU truely unmasks it's true capablities and the Vtec window is nothing short of genius. It really does transform the car, figures I have read quote 25-30BHP more from 4000-6000 RPM and 10BHP peak gain, regardless of the pub talk, it feels a much more rapid machine.

The Civic 2.0 i-VTEC features the extremely desireable K20A engine and a state of the art GLC 5-speed gearbox. The engine is rated for a max power of 155ps at 6500rpm and a max torque of 18.0 kgm at 5000rpm. Redline is at a high 7000rpm. Another problem is the driver's window. For many EP3's when using the auto window it goes half way and comes back up. Mine would do that like 3 times before it going all the way down. This problem is covered by Honda warranty of course. Then there's the "problem" with the K20A3.
